Encarnación Arroyo Porriño

Encarnación Arroyo born in Villanueva del Rey (Córdoba) and studied her Degree in Physics at the University of Córdoba (2014-18) and her Master degree in Plasma, Laser and Surfaces Technology at the University of Córdoba and Polytechnic University of Madrid. She got the Award for best Master’s Thesis of the IV Galileo’s Plan of Innovation and Transfer by the University of Córdoba. She got the JAE-Intro Grant of Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in October 2019 at the Institute of Materials Science of Seville (CSIC-US). After this, she received a FPU Grant (FPU19/00527) to develop her Thesis in the Colloidal Materials Group researching about Persistent Luminescence and Multifunctional Nanoprobes for Diagnostic Imaging.
She has already published some scientific papers in SCI journals, she has presented oral communications in European and International Conferences and she is interested in scientific dissemination activities. Furthermore, she has been a mentee in the International Program of IMFAHE 2020-21 and she has carried out a brief international research stay addressed by Prof. Rashid Bashir and Enrique Valera at LIBNA group, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, learning about biosensors (EST21/00458)..
